Labours

My portfolio of works from 2021-2022, centered around the nature of my mental health, femininity and physicality. I consistently challenged a mind-body duality by immersing myself in intuitive automatic drawing and graphic demarcation with pen and ink. My use of mixed media explores how various textures and marks birth the female form. By doing so, I established myself as a creator through beneficial, healing expression.

A challenge to the idea of an irreconcilable duality of body and mind by unifying segments of the female form into a fluid, amorphous shape (consciousness).
